FRIENDS NIGHT OUT

After a long time, I hang out with friends last night for about two hours. We discussed about our friends from Los Angeles visit to their hometown. We will meet them tomorrow at the airport and conduct them to their hometown. We will have a good time with our friends from LA on July 17 or 18. We plan to bring our friend with lung cancer to this miraculous church in Sulangan Guian Eastern Samar. I know many friends who were healed of their ailments when they come to this church and or their prayers were granted when they ask it from here. Its their faith that heal them, I suppose or grant their prayers. Its my first time to go there, too. I pray that there will be a miracle to our friend.

STUBBORN INTERNET CONNECTION

I was so pissed I could not bloghop when I had the time already. Blame it to the poor internet connection. 

Since 5pm or maybe earlier than that my inrternet connection went stubborn. I had to reboot many times as I mistaken it for loose connection from my router to the modem. At past 11pm the fast internet connection came in.  Sleepy but I should not sleep because I have an important research to make. So, ciao for now.

I WAS NOT ALONE

When I went to the office, there were many of us whose eyes were swollen because of crying. I was not alone in staying up to watch the memorial service for Michael Jackson. Now we are sleepy for staying up awake till early morning. It was worth it. I CRIED LIKE I KNEW HIM

I could not help it. I have been crying last night. It was all because of Michael Jackson. In his memorial service, I cried like I knew him even from watching the  TV at Fox News.  I cried almost the whole time of the memorial ceremonies. I was happy that he was somehow vindicated of all the accusations hurled against him. The Congresswoman who spoke was right, until Michael was proven guilty he remained to be innocent.    He was a great music icon, his legacy of uniting races together is something, too.  He deserves to be given that Humanitarian leader award. Michael Jackson will always remain alive forever in the hearts of many people worldwide.

The subdivision where I live has a homeowner's association. Recently, there was a change of officership and I am happy that under the present leadersip there were many changes that were effected. Getting pregnant and having children is to me the very essence of being a woman. LONG MONDAY

This has been a long and tiring day for me. 

It is Monday here and I started the day by attending a meeting.  And, another meeting. Whew, meetings can sometimes eat up most of office people's time. It was even good that the meeting venue were just in the same building. Tomorrow, I will be having a symposium on Mobilizing Local Response to Global Challenges.  When I left for downtown this afternoon, the physical set up of the venue have still to be fixed for about 220 participants who are expected to attend in this symposium. Tonight I still have to prepare on my topic regarding global warming. Geez, I should not be staying up so late tonight because I should be so early to go to my workstation tomorrow.

Life is full of ups and downs. This I always remember to give me a glimmer of hope everytime I am depressed.
